The Role
Based in Falmer near Brighton within our clients' offices, you'll be responsible for investigating and resolving customer queries and complaints relating to work carried out on behalf of our clients, as well as providing telephone updates to customers on the progress of work.
Here are some of the activities that you'll get involved in...
* Respond to customer enquiries and requests via various communication channels, such as phone and email.
* Identify and effectively address customer issues in a timely and efficient manner.
* Manage and resolve customer complaints and concerns with empathy and professionalism, striving to turn challenging situations into opportunities for customer satisfaction.
* Keep the internal system up to date with communications to customers.
* Keep customers up to date on the progression of their works.
* Collect, collate and analyse data on customer enquiries and complaints.

Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential, including strong listening abilities and the capacity to manage conflict resolution effectively.
An understanding of and empathy for customer issues is crucial, along with maintaining composure and patience, particularly in challenging situations. Strong problem-solving skills enable the identification and resolution of customer problems efficiently, while adaptability and flexibility are key in managing a wide range of customer enquiries.
Excellent organisational skills are important, along with being comfortable with technology, specifically Microsoft Office including Excel.
