LIMS System Integration Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated LIMS System Integration Analyst with expertise in Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and HL7 messaging standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining system integrations to ensure seamless data exchange across laboratory and healthcare applications, improving operational efficiency and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the integration of LIMS with other healthcare systems, focusing on interoperability with EPR systems and clinical applications.
* Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using HL7, FHIR, and other healthcare data exchange standards.
* Collaborate with laboratory staff, clinical teams, IT departments, and external vendors to gather and document integration requirements.
* Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including integration specifications, data flow diagrams, and support procedures.
* Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues to ensure high availability and performance of data exchange.
* Support the testing and validation of integrations to meet regulatory and organizational standards.
* Provide training and support to technical teams and end users on integration processes and best practices.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a System Integration Analyst or similar role within the healthcare sector, with specific experience in LIMS integration.
* Strong knowledge of Electronic Patient Records (EPR) systems and their integration.
* Expertise in HL7 (v2 and v3), FHIR, and other interoperability standards.
* Experience with interface engines (e.g., Mirth Connect, Rhapsody, or Cloverleaf).
* Familiarity with laboratory workflows and data exchange processes.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
