About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Accessibility Manager to lead and embed accessibility across Arden University’s digital and physical environments. This pivotal role will ensure compliance with the European Accessibility Act, drive forward inclusive initiatives, and create meaningful change for our students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct accessibility testing, site visits, and audits to assess and improve accessibility standards.
* Collaborate with disabled students and staff to inform and shape accessibility strategies.
* Partner with internal teams to deliver a cohesive, institution-wide approach to accessibility.
* Provide expert advice, training, and guidance on accessibility for both digital and built environments.
* Play a leading role in fostering an inclusive learning and working environment for everyone at Arden University.
About You
We’re looking for a passionate accessibility advocate who is eager to drive positive change. You will need:
* Proven experience in digital and built environment accessibility.
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
* A people-focused approach and dedication to promoting inclusivity.
* A background in delivering training and creating accessibility guidance.
* The ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
* Experience in the Higher Education sector (desirable but not essential).
