Job Description:
Your new firm
Your new firm is a well-known, respected, and award-winning firm of chartered accountants with offices across Lancashire and Greater Manchester. The firm offers a range of services including accountancy, audit, cloud accounting, corporate finance, payroll, tax planning/advisory, and financial planning. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a payroll specialist to join either the Bury or Blackburn office in a bureau capacity.
Your new role
As a payroll specialist, you will join a well-established payroll team, delivering a range of solutions for various clients. In this role, you will have your own portfolio of clients for which you will be responsible for delivering the end-to-end payroll. You will be tasked with collecting high volumes of payroll data, processing various calculations, working with HMRC, submitting P45, P46, FPS, EPS, and maintaining awareness of various payroll legislation. This is a fast-paced role with a real mixture of different clients, and you will be responsible for solving client queries and ensuring all information provided is processed in a timely manner.
What you'll need to succeed
The firm is seeking an experienced payroller who is competent in delivering the end-to-end payroll process. Ideally, you will have worked within an accountancy firm or a payroll bureau where you have gained experience dealing with multiple clients. You will be joining a fast-paced team, so strong communication and organization skills are essential.
What you'll get in return
In return for this role, you will receive a competitive salary, between £25,000 to £30,000 DOE, and join a modern office with a really social and friendly team. There is a healthy benefits package including study support (geared around your development), days holiday, free parking, 8% pension contribution, hybrid/home working, firm-wide bonus scheme, and a range of other flexible benefits.
