Salary: £13.50 per hour
A mixed private school for both boarding and day pupils, situated in Bath, Somerset. Catering for 750 students and teachers daily, we offer a core feeding of breakfast, lunch, supper, and evening snacks. This is a term-time plus contract, working 48 weeks, with a 7-day operation requiring a working pattern of 5 out of 7 days. Additional benefits include free on-site parking.
We are looking for a talented Storeman / Kitchen Porter to join our team at one of our fabulous locations in Bath.
You will have previous experience of working within a fast-paced kitchen as a Storeman / Kitchen Porter and will be excited to work with fresh seasonal ingredients and regularly changing bespoke menus. You will be creative and have the opportunity to showcase your skillset.
Key responsibilities:
* Work well in a team, providing food and great service
* Control every aspect of stock from delivery to clean, well-organized storage areas
* Ensure company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled
* Follow all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures
* Assist with pot wash duties
* Be a great team player
* Help the Chefs with some food prep
You will have the following skills:

* Good understanding and use of verbal English
* Good standard of written English and reading skills
* Similar experience in a customer and/or food preparation environment preferred
