The role Service Charge Advisor (6 Month Secondment up to 30 September 2025) Southern Housing was formed in December 2022 and is currently delivering a complex transformation program to streamline processes and improving operational efficiency in setting and accounting service charges. We are looking for 2 x talented, detail orientated persons with advanced excel skills to join the Service Charge Team on a 6-month secondment. What You'll be Doing: Working closely with the Head of Service Charge Transformation you will work exclusively to build custom spreadsheets from scratch to meet specific requirements, implementing formulas, functions and automation to improve the efficiency and accuracy of setting estimate service charges. What you'll need: Essential : Proven experience of creating complex spreadsheets, be proficient in formulas, pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, data validation and conditional formatting. Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail to ensure data accuracy and consistency. The ability to develop efficient solutions to optimise processes and automate tasks and explain spreadsheet functions clearly to non-technical colleagues. Problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills, including prioritising, problem solving and interpersonal relationship building. Effective time management, prioritisation and organisational skills that ensure deadlines are met. A logical, analytical approach to problem solving. Results oriented, delivery focused, commercially aware - setting and achieving high goals for personal and project team accomplishment. Desirable: Housing sector experience Understanding of Service Charges Familiarisation of One Orchard Creative thinker and experience of providing solutions to streamline processes.
