Key Responsibilities Plan, prepare and deliver inspiring, interactive, inclusive and engaging sessions for young people which allow for development and meet individual needs. Provide a safe and fun environment for young people to meet new friends, develop skills, and improve their mental and physical wellbeing. Ensure that safeguarding is at the heart of all work, applying best practices and policies in all aspects of young people support. Develop and maintain positive professional relationships with young people, engaging them in activities that promote personal and social development. Communicate effectively with the Kicks Co-ordinator on a day-to-day basis. Develop and maintain positive relationships with foundation staff, parents, carers, and key partners. What We Are Looking For in You Experience of delivering activities to young people from diverse backgrounds in inner city community settings. Understanding of the challenges that young people face. Excellent communication and organization skills. Able to work late afternoons and early evenings and travel around Birmingham. Hold a minimum of FA Introduction to Coaching Football Award, FA Introduction to First Aid in Football Award, and FA Safeguarding Children Award. Coaching qualifications in other sports or youth work qualifications are advantageous. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to work flexibly.
