About The Role
Paul Smith are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join their team. As Assistant Manager you will embody and demonstrate Paul Smith values, being an ambassador for the brand. You will effectively support the Shop Management on initiatives to achieve and exceed set financial targets, driving exceptional customer experience through encouraging the team.
As an Assistant Manager your key responsibilities include:
1. Leading and measuring a CRM strategy in partnership with Senior management and the Marketing team, to build a loyal client base whilst leveraging all clienteling tools
2. Encouraging excellent product knowledge, defining in store product training and ensuring this is consistently shared with customers to convert sales
3. Ensuring operational excellence with all relevant documents relating to payroll, team scheduling, sales reporting, HR, facilities and health and safety are actioned in line with Paul Smith policies and procedures
4. Manage stock and inventory through cycle counts and stock takes, to ensure fulfilment of sales to customers across all channels
5. Collaborating with the Visual Merchandising team to establish best visual presentation and retail standards
About You
The ideal candidate for this role will have previous managerial experience with the fashion/retail environment. In addition, you will have the following skills and experience:
6. Ability to drive and develop sales, able to to interpret financial sales data
7. Great people management skills, able to coach and nurture to achieve results
8. Excellent proven retail operational skills, with the a keen eye for detail
9. Experience creating best visual stands and practices in store
10. Experience with all process including HR and Health & Safety
11. Self motivated, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
12. An interest in Paul Smith brand, with a passion for fashion
