The purpose of the role is to help transition the PMO function from Waterfall through to Agile. Beyond this is to work in a complete Agile way and constantly looking for improvements on the journey. We want someone to initially enjoy the transformation side but then to also be happy managing the PMO function (in an Agile manner) in the future.
We need you to have the following experience:
* Strong Leadership skills – you must have strong people management skills with the ability to manage circa 5 x PMO Analysts, take them on this new journey but also know how to (and have proven experience of) taking a PMO function from Waterfall to Agile (heavily from a Governance perspective)
* Solid and proven experience of Governing in an Agile way
* The need to understand Governance and not just Delivery. You will be working closely with the Governance department and must know what good looks like in terms of Governance
* Proven ability to work as part of team and to use examples of where you have embraced this kind of experience as a well-oiled team
* Knowing the difference between Product and Project and being able to explain clearly the difference between the two
