We are looking for self-motivated, efficient and outstanding Admin Assistant/Attendance Officer to join our Adult Skills department You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis and in return, we will offer a competitive salary of £24,853 pa inc London Weighting. The Admin Assistant/Attendance Officer role: The post holder will provide a full range of administrative duties to support the Adult Skills areas. Key Responsibilities of our Admin Assistant/Attendance Officer: Prepare and process letters, documents and reports in connection with the work of curriculum areas, some of which may be confidential Provide data administration to curriculum areas and curriculum managers as required Manage, update and ensure accuracy of database systems and spreadsheet information including those used to track progress of students. Liaise with students and parents to establish and record the reason for non-attendance and work with curriculum teams to agree a plan for facilitating a return to college using appropriate strategies within specified timescales Work on initiatives which raise the awareness of college staff, parents and the community on the importance of college attendance Our ideal Admin Assistant/Attendance Officer should have the following qualifications, skills and experience: A good knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Office Packages Experience of producing reports, updating data bases and spread sheets Educated to a good standard with excellent communication skills For full details and criteria please see attached job description.
