This exciting new role as Asset Care & Excellence Manager at our factory in March offers the opportunity to shape and drive asset reliability, performance, and continuous improvement, playing a key part in the department’s evolution and success. About This Role As an Asset Care & Excellence Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving asset reliability, performance, and continuous improvement across our production facility. Your leadership will shape the strategic development of maintenance excellence, ensuring that our assets are cared for to the highest standards. With a data-driven approach to asset lifecycle management and operational reliability, you will ensure the ongoing success of our site operations. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement an Asset Care strategy to maximise equipment reliability and performance. Oversee PPM and predictive maintenance programs, using root cause analysis (RCA) to reduce downtime. Lead continuous improvement initiatives, championing TPM and lean methodologies to enhance OEE. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety regulations, leading engineering audits and enforcing best practices. Manage and develop the Asset Care & Excellence team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Control the Asset Care budget, optimising asset lifecycle costs and driving cost-saving initiatives. Support energy efficiency and sustainability projects through asset optimisation. What we’re looking for: Degree or qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Reliability Engineering. Experience in engineering leadership, asset management, and maintenance excellence within food manufacturing or FMCG. Strong knowledge of PPM, RCM, RCA, lean manufacturing, TPM, and compliance requirements. Proven leadership skills with experience managing teams and budgets.
