They are seeking a Product Assurance Engineer to ensure the highest quality in their cutting-edge products used in everything from hospitals to outer space. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Provide support to the Business Unit, ensuring high-quality custom image sensors, Front End electronics, and Optical Systems meet or exceed customer expectations. Engage in effective project planning and control from bid to execution, ensuring robust quality assurance practices. Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions in case of non-conformances. Identify, evaluate, and mitigate design and manufacturing risks, ensuring compliance with quality standards. Manage non-conformance with clearly defined containment, root cause identification, and corrective action implementation. Facilitate customer reviews and audits and ensure compliance with customer and supply chain quality requirements. Support internal and external audits based on a risk-based approach. Administer co-authorisation and closure of permits, concessions, and Non-Conformance Report Boards (NRBs). Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in a Product/Quality Assurance role within space, aerospace, or defence industries. Background in design and production for electro-mechanical parts and systems. Experience with assemblies, electronics, and software is advantageous. Knowledge of high-reliability parts and materials. Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead problem-solving teams and think "outside of the box".
