Blue Arrow are recruiting for an experienced Chef Manager to work with our client in the Dudley area.
Skills you will need:
1. Good knowledge of all sections
2. Strong ability to produce good quality food and first-rate culinary skills
3. A flair, passion and a love of ingredients
4. Strong organisational skills
5. An ability to work unsupervised and consistently deliver quality work
6. Experience of a variety of kitchen environments and cuisines
7. Good knowledge of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP)
8. Knowledge of food production methods
9. Good maths/numeracy skills
10. Effective oral communication with all members of the team
Main Duties/Responsibilities
1. Cook and prepare high quality dishes
2. Supervise all kitchen stations
3. Maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment
4. Be responsible for health and safety
5. Be responsible for food hygiene practices, completing daily paperwork and completing and recording daily temperature checks.
6. Ensure food quality and excellent standards are maintained for all dishes created
7. Assist with determining food inventory needs, stocking and ordering
Applicants must have a current enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months.
Applicants must have a food hygiene level 2 or above qualification dated within the last 3 years, or be willing to obtain one prior to commencing work.
