Position: Key Stage 2 Teacher

About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Key Stage 2 (KS2) teacher to join a thriving and supportive primary school in the heart of St Albans. Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan, deliver, and assess creative and engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
2. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all children feel valued and supported.
3. Monitor and track students' progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to create and deliver effective teaching strategies.
5. Encourage a love of learning and support students in developing key skills and knowledge.
6. Ensure that safeguarding and pastoral care standards are met, creating a safe and supportive environment.
7. Participate in staff meetings, parent consultations, and professional development opportunities.
About You:
1. A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
2. Experience teaching in KS2, with a proven track record of success and positive outcomes for pupils.
3. A passion for teaching and a commitment to inspiring children to achieve their best.
4. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate for the needs of all learners.
5. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
6. A creative and flexible approach to teaching, with a willingness to embrace new ideas and strategies.
7. A commitment to ongoing professional development.
