Job Introduction
As a Pensions Analyst at Sodexo in Salford, you are a meticulous professional with a commitment to accuracy and a passion for supporting the financial wellbeing of our people. In this role, you’ll support the Head of Pensions and the Pensions Manager, ensuring our pension, life assurance, and income protection plans are well-administered and compliant with regulations. You’ll play a key role in statutory reporting and be instrumental in projects that enhance the experience of our pension plan members.

Hybrid role with regular visits to our Salford office.
What you’ll do:
* Manage relationships with third-party providers to ensure cohesive service delivery to pension plan members.
* Develop and maintain knowledge of UK and ROI pension regulations, contributing to compliance and informed decision-making.
* Collaborate with payroll, finance, and other HR functions to ensure correct administration of plans and timely processing of contributions.
* Maintain accurate data for life assurance and income protection plans, ensuring alignment with company policies.
* Produce and reconcile monthly contribution reports, meeting statutory obligations for pension compliance.
* Provide guidance, training, and advice to colleagues, People Services, and HR on pension-related matters.
* Support HR projects and pension plan updates, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
What you bring:
*
o Proven experience in either Pensions, Finance or HR administration.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with strong skills in data analysis, manipulation, and summarising.
o Ability to solve day-to-day issues independently.
o Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Desirable:
o Experience using SAP HR.
o Knowledge of pensions procedures, policies, and regulations, with an understanding of Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution plans.
