Role Overview:
Are you ready to make a real impact in primary education? We're on the hunt for a motivated and compassionate Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or SEN TA to join our team in Dorking. In this role, you'll play a vital part in supporting and nurturing the education of children from Early Years to KS2, working closely with teachers and other staff members.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities.
* Support the emotional, social, and cognitive development of students.
* Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
* Monitor and track children’s progress, keeping accurate records.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to enhance learning experiences.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety and safeguarding policies.
* Help prepare learning materials and maintain classroom organization.
Requirements:
* Relevant qualification (Drama, Dance, Psychology, English, Sports Science, or similar).
* Experience working in a school setting, after-school clubs, or youth clubs.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A patient, caring, and enthusiastic attitude.
* Ability to collaborate effectively in a team.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
