Role Purpose
This role is a Full-Time role ideally based in the North West of England or within the M25. This role is primarily supporting the Retail & Hospitality Division delivering and undertaking unaccredited audits to Retail & Hospitality "own brand" standards across the UK and Ireland with a specific emphasis on auditing within the retail and hospitality sectors.
Key Responsibilities
* You will deliver high quality assessments/audits and inspections that meet the needs of customers’ specific requirements in an efficient and professional manner.
* Through providing effective management your responsibilities will include:
o Providing professional support to the Business Support Specialists in Edinburgh.
o Completing environmental audits (food safety, health and safety and fire safety audits) in accordance with legal and client driven requirements.
o To be fully utilised throughout the year and cost efficient.
o To complete audit reports immediately after audit and at the latest 48 hours after site visit but as agreed with the client SLA.
o Complete accident investigations as requested by the Business Support Team or H&S Assessor Manager.
o To keep colleagues appraised of industry developments.
o Undertaking Duty Consultancy on a rota basis, usually one every 5 weeks.
o Strategic Management support for Clients as required.
o Review of documents including FSMS, H&S & Training Policies.
o Shadow and Witness Audits of Auditors where technical support is given.
o To maintain CPD and take on additional training as required. Maintain a high level of IT skills in line with equipment and software used in the business.
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:
* Must be qualified as Environmental Health Practitioner preferably registered with EHORB.
* Have Level 4 Food Safety & Health & Safety Qualifications.
* Be a member of the CIEH and IOSH.
* Have 5 years’ experience in the Food Safety sector.
* Have a Lead Auditor Qualification specific to ISO22K or ISO45K.
