£11,778 for your first year, then could increase depending on your age

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you’ll do at work
You will be working alongside class teachers and will work in a variety of roles, including supporting an allocated child, a group of children, or across a whole class group.
The successful candidate will be able to provide academic, emotional, and social support to enable the children to achieve their best. This role may also encompass lunch time duties. Full driving licence would be advantageous.
Duties include:
* Work positively with all individuals or small groups of children, as a team, under the direction of teaching staff
* Implement planned learning activities/teaching programmes as directed by the teacher, adjusting activities according to pupils’ responses as appropriate
* To be supportive of the Catholic Ethos of the school
* As a team, and as an individual, support work with whole classes, individuals or small groups of children under the direction of teaching staff
* To provide high-quality learning and offer appropriate stimulation and support to the children according to individual needs, as directed by the class teacher or school leadership

Other requirements
This role may also encompass lunch time duties, Full driving licence is advantageous. The role is classroom based, however you may at times be one to one with a child. The role may include lunchtime duties, supervising children at lunchtime in the school hall and playground. The role is varied but rewarding and you will be offered full support & training within the role.
