Role Overview:
Are you passionate about education and making a difference in the lives of learners and schools? We're looking for a dynamic and experienced Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship Trainer to deliver inspiring training, coaching, and assessment to learners on Level 3 and Level 5 Teaching Assistant standards.
What You'll Be Doing: Deliver engaging, high-quality training sessions and workplace coaching
Develop creative curriculum content and digital learning resources
Support learners through observations, reviews, and portfolio building
Deliver short CPD courses in SEND and Autism via the Autism and SEND Fund (ASF)
Track and report learner progress using e-portfolio systems
Collaborate with employers and stakeholders to drive learner success
Stay ahead with current legislation, policies, and best practices in education and SEND
Contribute to internal quality assurance and continuous improvement
What You'll Bring: A Level 5 qualification in a relevant subject area
Assessor qualification (CAVA, A1, or equivalent)
Experience delivering TA Apprenticeships (Level 3/5) and CPD in SEND/Autism
Recent experience in an educational setting, ideally in a TA or SEND role
Strong communication, coaching, and organisational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Teams, and e-portfolio platforms
Bonus Points for: IQA qualification
Experience designing curriculum or short courses
Understanding of ASF funding and support for learners with EHCPs
