Our client have created a new opportunity for an Audit Semi-Senior to join our Oxford Audit team. This is a permanent full-time or part-time role with hybrid and flexible working options (flexing your hours on different days to suit your lifestyle).
You will have previous UK audit experience, in a UK firm of accountants.
The Role
1. Building long lasting client relationships
2. Working on a variety of interesting and complex audit assignments across multiple sectors, liaising with seniors, managers and partners when required
3. Prepare audit files, undertake audit planning and lead/assist with fieldwork. As you progress and develop, you will be given more responsibility and start leading smaller audits
4. Ensure audit assignments/ sections (depending on the size of the audits that you are involved) are completed to a high standard, in time and within budgets agreed with Partners
5. Preparing corporation tax computations
6. Managing own workload in a timely and efficient manner while all the time ensuring we exceed client expectations
7. Supervising, training and assisting more junior members of the team
8. Build productive relationships with team members and colleagues at Shaw Gibbs, adopting a collaborative working approach
