Make a Real Impact in Early Childhood Development
Are you passionate about empowering young children and their families? EACH is looking for an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our Child Development and School Readiness Funding teams!
In this rewarding role, you'll partner with educators and families in kindergarten communities to build their capacity in fostering children’s communication, social-emotional wellbeing, and inclusion. Through coaching, group training, and case consultation, you’ll help shape young learners' early experiences and prepare them for school success.
What Your Role Looks Like:
- Collaborate with kindergartens and Department of Education and Training staff across Maroondah, Knox, and Yarra Ranges
- Provide hands-on, evidence-based support to enhance children’s self-regulation, motor skills, and social-emotional wellbeing
- Split your time between outreach at early learning centres and clinic-based therapy at Ringwood East & Ferntree Gully
- Work closely with Speech Therapists, Dietitians, and Psychologists in a supportive, multidisciplinary team
What We’re Looking For:
- AHPRA-registered Occupational Therapist with a relevant graduate/postgraduate degree
- Experience in early childhood education and capacity building
- Strong knowledge of the National Quality Standard (NQS) & VEYLDF
- Skilled in training, coaching, and consultation for educators and families
