Job description The role will support the Loan and Equity Accounting Senior Manager with the production of monthly reporting, as well as accounting for the portfolio over the year-end period. This includes assisting with the production of working papers, financial statements and disclosures. The role will also assist with reaching accounting judgements, including undertaking technical accounting treatment assessments to ensure investments are classified correctly. There will also be the opportunity to be involved in other key projects, including supporting the development of new systems. Person specification As an experienced Finance professional youll understand how to manage colleagues and be able to demonstrate you can work with others as part of a team in a collaborative, inclusive way. You will be resilient and comfortable managing stakeholders at a senior level, and able to establish good relationships with key stakeholders including internal delivery teams and the National Audit Office. You will be able to prioritise to ensure quality work is delivered on a timely basis, while being aware of and escalating key risks. You'll have experience of year end accounts production and technical accountancy knowledge including IFRS, as well as experience with data interrogation and analysis in Excel. You will hold a recognised professional accountancy qualification, such as ACA, ACCA, CIPFA, CIMA.
