We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Posting Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical skills and have a knack for data entry, ensuring that all information is accurately recorded and maintained. This role requires proficiency in various office software, including Google Suite and QuickBooks, as well as excellent phone etiquette. The Posting Clerk will play a crucial role in supporting our administrative functions and ensuring smooth operations within the office.
Duties
1. Perform accurate data entry tasks, ensuring all information is logged correctly into the system.
2. Manage and organise files, both physical and digital, to maintain an efficient office environment.
3. Handle incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing assistance or directing calls as necessary.
4. Utilise Google Suite applications for document creation, spreadsheets, and presentations as required.
5. Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks to support financial operations.
6. Collaborate with team members to streamline administrative processes and improve workflow efficiency.
7. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while adhering to company policies.
Requirements
1. Proven experience in clerical or administrative roles is preferred.
2. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
3. Proficiency in using computer systems and office software, particularly Google Suite and QuickBooks.
4. Excellent typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry.
5. Good phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective communication with colleagues and clients.
6. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
