EFAB Industrial Solutions, a leading Engineering Construction business, based in Immingham, are looking for a Civil & Structural Designer to join our team, to collaborate with Project Managers and team members to fulfil project deliverables. Responsibilities: Collaborate with project managers and other team members to understand project requirements and objectives Participate in project planning and coordinate design activities to ensure timely and efficient project delivery Develop conceptual and detailed civil and structural designs based on project specifications and requirements Utilise engineering software and tools to create accurate and cost-effective designs Perform calculations and analysis to ensure designs meet safety and regulatory standards Conduct structural analysis to assess the integrity and stability of buildings, bridges, and other structures. Optimise designs for structural efficiency, considering factors such as load-bearing capacity, wind resistance, and seismic performance. Create detailed construction drawings, plans, and specifications using AutoCAD or other relevant software. Prepare comprehensive documentation to support design decisions and facilitate construction Conduct thorough quality control reviews of designs to ensure accuracy, compliance with regulations, and adherence to project specifications Collaborate with project teams to address and resolve design-related issues Provide technical support during the construction phase, responding to queries and participating in site visits as needed Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in civil and structural engineering. Qualifications Requirement Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related field) Proven experience as a Civil and Structural Designer Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
