Scope
The Technology team at Houlihan Lokey is looking to add a Senior Associate in Manchester. The environment at Houlihan Lokey is both collegial and entrepreneurial. Responsibilities
1. Prepare, analyze, and help explain historical and projected financial information.
2. Coordinate and perform business due diligence.
3. Prepare confidential information memoranda, management presentations, marketing pitches, and other presentations.
4. Value companies and businesses.
5. Lead the planning and execution of marketing engagements.
6. Build relationships and maintain direct contact with clients and prospective clients, professional advisors, and other stakeholders.
7. Supervise junior staff members in financial analyses.
8. Assist in the marketing and planning of engagements.
Qualifications Required
1. Strong academic track record with a 2:1 or equivalent degree.
2. 4-6 years of investment banking experience within an M&A, generalist, or industry team. Experience/knowledge in the Technology sector will be favorably regarded.
3. Fundamental understanding of financial valuation methodologies and applications.
4. Advanced financial modeling and analytical abilities; strong LBO and DCF modeling skills.
5. Strong qualitative and quantitative research skills.
6. Understanding of financial statement analysis with the ability to work through key assumptions, implicit caveats, and limitations.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
8. Strong knowledge of Excel.
9. Independent thinker and resourceful problem solver driven to succeed.
10. Strong work ethic, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
11. Motivated with the ability to work cooperatively with all levels of staff in a rapidly changing, demanding, but ultimately rewarding environment.
12. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
