Job Title: Airman Ministry Center Coordinator Location: RAF Laken heath, England Duties: Recruit, train, and equip volunteers to serve in the AMC. The AMC Coordinator will support other Chapel sponsored events by advertising and recruiting volunteers as needed. Manage the day-to-day operations of the AMC/HOPE Spiritual Fitness Initiative program to include cleanliness, maintenance, supplies, etc. to support the AMC. Recruit and train volunteer leadership through discipleship and leadership training. Generate timely and wide-spread publicity, as approved by the Wing Chaplain, for all HOPE events. Ensure the AMC atmosphere is spiritually based, alcohol free, relaxing, and inclusively tailored for single Airmen. Plan and coordinate all AMC events and programs in cooperation and consultation with the AMC Chaplain, or their designated representative. Create and maintain a database of parents/participants. Summer youth events. Ongoing leadership training. Qualifications: Must have a Baccalaureate Degree (in any field). Copies of the degree and transcripts must be provided. Possess a minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a ministerial setting with religiously and ethnically diverse young adults. Applicants must write and speak English fluently. Possess training or experience with the following: record keeping; volunteer recruitment, training and placement; event planning; organization, execution, and evaluation; budget planning and financial administration, telecommunications equipment; current video gaming systems and equipment, Microsoft Office Software including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; facility maintenance and/or management. Possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience and be functional in Microsoft Office Programs: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Operating Hours: This ministry position assumes an estimated 20-hour work week. Office hours will be between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Powered by JazzHR
