This is a Fixed-Term, Maternity Cover post, for 12 months.

THE JOB
To carry out machinery administration activities within sales department. Processing purchase orders, sales orders, delivery paperwork and clearing purchase invoices utilising Ibcos and D365. Working with Penrith, Barnard Castle, Skipton & Thirsk sales departments.
Supporting sales team to ensure smooth flow of all sales processes within sales department.
Daily processing of purchase orders, sales orders, invoices, supplier bonuses - all paperwork relating to the sales process from start to finish.
Processing of all goods in and goods out paperwork.
Handling depot transfers.
Liaising with suppliers, finance companies, hauliers to process external paperwork.
Working with internal teams (accounts, credit control) to handle customer queries.
Liaising with aftersales teams to provide best possible customer journey within machinery business.
Handle phone calls and queries from customers, suppliers & sales team.
Assisting sales team with any admin tasks.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALITIES REQUIRED
Essential
Excellent attitude to make things happen, self starter to handle admin tasks in the most efficient way possible.
Written skills - proven ability to use clear, concise language specific for the purpose and audience
Confident, strong IT user
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to consult, negotiate and liaise with suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders.
Ability to manage change and to adapt to unexpected demands on a day to day basis.
Ability to assess priorities and manage competing deadlines both independently and as a member of a team.
Desirable
Use of 365, Ibcos & manufacturer based systems.
Experience working independently and managing time in a commercial environment.
