UPP currently has an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist to join our team. This is a permanent, part-time position working (INSERT HOURS) hours per week from (INSERT SHIFT START TIME) to (INSERT SHIFT END TIME) Monday to Friday.

The Receptionist will operate the Reception desk and switchboard as well as a computerised system that controls a real-time helpdesk to monitor reactive and planned maintenance work. They will also be required to assist in the recording of planned and statutory maintenance, procurement of goods, purchase requisitions, receipts of requisitions, administration of invoices, and personnel records.
Role responsibilities include:
1. Provide an excellent and comprehensive reception service to the students and office team; keeping records of all visitors, contractors, and issuing keys when required.
2. Log post and parcels on the system for students to collect.
3. Liaise with the university client, sub-contractors, UPP staff, and residents and support with all queries.
4. Maintain all technical and statutory records and personnel records held on site.
5. Manage and monitor out-of-hours access to the residence, ensuring compliance with fire, health & safety procedures, and any relevant residence instructions.
6. Operate a computer-based property management database which monitors all the planned and reactive maintenance works.
We are looking for you to have worked in a similar environment with great communication and administration skills, comfortable working with databases and spreadsheets. Most of all, you will have the passion to work as a team to do an excellent job, always being helpful and welcoming to our students, staff, and visitors.
You will also be flexible to work (with notice) to work additional hours when the need arises.
