The Position:
This is a full-time, 6-week role. Lead the team as we pop up in the old Fitzroy Street Wilko in Cambridge. The popup will be a lively, high-speed event that needs people with energy and focus to help run it successfully for six weeks. We need temporary full & part-time retail professionals to join us in Cambridge who can help provide an inclusive, fun and authentic customer experience that truly represents the Beyond Retro brand.
Our Store Managers are focused, hardworking, energetic, and great team leaders. You will help bring a unique shopping and product experience to our customers. You will work to promote the development of your people and positive growth for store results. Beyond Retro is dedicated to providing a sustainable solution to fast fashion. As part of the team, you have the opportunity to make a difference to not only the store but to our business as a whole.
Responsibilities:
1. Help build a huge sustainable pop-up fashion store.
2. Assist in all store operating procedures e.g. delivery, replenishment etc.
3. Maintain a busy store helping across all areas from back stock to shop floors and tills.
4. Follow all H&S procedures to maintain a healthy, safe and tidy work environment.
5. Deliver excellent service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
6. Motivate the team to meet sales and operational objectives.
7. Controlling and managing all aspects of the day-to-day store operations.
8. Keeping our people and our customers safe and happy.
9. An energetic and engaged team player who has a positive impact on the work environment.
10. Find ways to improve our carbon footprint as a company and share it with us!
Essential requirements are:
1. Track record in providing excellent customer service.
2. Prepared to be a real grafter! We will be busy!
3. Strong leadership and customer management abilities.
4. Experience in the retail fashion industry would be an asset.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. A good human who cares about their peers :)
Team required from March 21st for 6 weeks. There is potential for further work for star players.
