Job Description
The People Tech Partner is a bridge between the Digital Services team and their partnered technology system, they are responsible for ensuring the system and processes on that technology support business needs. As part of their role, they manage the optimisation of system processes and manage any new feature releases that will have an impact on the business. As an expert in the system, they also serve as an escalation point to any queries that cannot be answered through tier 1 or 2 channels.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technology Optimisation: Ensure the systems are optimised for efficiency and align with the organisation technology goals and principles.
2. Data Management and Analysis: Manage the data within the system to ensure accuracy and integrity. Provide relevant support for workforce trends, reporting and analytics as required.
3. Process Improvement: Identify areas where technology can streamline HR processes and improve efficiency by recommending and implementing process improvements to enhance the employee experience and HR service delivery.
4. Support and Training: Provide relevant training and support to those using the technology system, including recorded sessions, updated documentation, and ad hoc training sessions for new users.
5. Vendor Relations: Manage a relationship with the Vendor of the technology to maintain an open point of contact for any queries or incidents. Develop a relationship that allows you to work with the Vendor to maximize system benefits and suggest enhancements for future releases.
6. Compliance and Security: Ensure the product complies with all legal and regulatory requirements, maintaining a security matrix that protects sensitive employee data.
7. Strategic Partnering: Work closely with the business to understand needs or changes and help plan for these. Align with other Tech Partners to ensure programmes do not clash and stay aligned to business objectives.
Skills & Competencies
1. Strong experience of working with HRIS systems.
2. Strong subject matter expert within HR Technology, MI and Analytics.
3. Good knowledge of HRIT technology products.
4. Proven experience of managing System Testing cycles (Business Acceptance Testing, End-to-End Business Testing) prior to deployment of an HR system.
5. Demonstrated ability to apply technology in solving business problems and interpreting MI up to and including an Executive audience.
6. Experience in successful design and application of analytic capabilities to address major business challenges or opportunities.
7. Proven experience of third-party management in relation to suppliers, sub-contractors, and stakeholders across the organisation.
8. Ability to consistently deliver high-quality customer service in a professional manner; effective listening and good verbal and written communication skills.
9. Good planning and organisation skills to deliver operational requirements.
10. Ability to support and influence sponsors, executive members, and customers with competing priorities.
11. Strong financial/cost management capability, including the ability to manage budgets, challenge costs, and interpret financial data.
12. Ability to adapt quickly to understand the business nuances of a complex group.
13. Significant experience of complex technology project delivery in a fast-moving change environment.
14. Knowledge of Technology Project Management and Governance approaches and frameworks.
15. An understanding of commercial, financial, and legislative requirements.
