Deputy Manager – Supported Living Services
Location: Liverpool L12
Hours: 40 hours per week (overtime available)
Salary: The hourly pay rate ranges from £13.80 to £14.40, with an additional £0.50 increase for individuals who hold Level 5 qualifications (Qualified Level 5 Rate: £14.30 - £14.90 per hour).
Full UK Driving License Required

What You’ll Do:
As Deputy Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the daily operations of our supported living services. You’ll lead and inspire a team of support staff, ensuring that we deliver outstanding care and support in line with regulatory standards (CQC/CIW). Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead by Example: Manage, inspire, and motivate a team of support workers. You’ll be hands-on, supporting them while creating a positive, inclusive work culture where everyone thrives.
2. Service Coordination: Oversee the daily operations of our services, ensuring person-centred care is delivered and that we comply with CQC/CIW regulations. Your organizational skills will be key to ensuring smooth operations.
3. Rota Management: You’ll take charge of scheduling to ensure that we have the right people in the right places, keeping staffing levels flexible and efficient.
4. Quality Control: Conduct audits and assessments, ensuring that we continue to meet the highest standards. You’ll be the driving force in maintaining a culture of continuous improvement.
5. Supportive Leadership: Provide mentorship, training, and guidance to your team, helping them grow in their careers. You’ll also be involved in crisis management, safeguarding, and ensuring all support plans are delivered effectively.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Experience: You’ve got experience in supported living or a similar environment and have a solid understanding of CQC/CIW regulations.
2. Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 (or higher) in Health and Social Care, with a willingness to complete Level 5. Experience in Health and Safety is also a plus (we’ll support you in completing the IOSH course).
3. Drive & Passion: You’re motivated, adaptable, and genuinely care about making a difference. You’re comfortable leading a team and handling challenges with a positive, proactive approach.
4. Full Driving License: You’ll need a valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle to travel between our sites.
