Head of Software Sales - Global Role - 6 month Interim - Greater Manchester. This global and highly diverse software sales company is searching for a Head of Sales on an interim basis to lead a dedicated, knowledgeable and experienced sales team in what is a people first organisation. This business has a long standing and respected reputation within its industry sector and is looking to continue to develop existing work whilst continuing to grow its new business portfolio. As the Head of Sales your role will operate as a member of the leadership team reporting directly to the CEO. Your work will support the CEO in spearheading sales efforts and a newly developed go to market sales strategy. The key responsibilities of this role will be to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the team, embedding sales strategy, structures and processes whilst developing their sales acumen and careers. You will lead, manage, recruit additionally and develop a team of high performing salespeople. As the Head of Sales, you will embed and ensure strong sales processes whilst driving the development of a full pipeline of opportunities and motivating the sales team. Engaging with customers at multiple levels, onboarding new customers and providing clarity on what good looks like in a successful sales environment. Key objectives in achieving success in this role: Recruit additional sales roles to strengthen the team & embed new hires with successful on boarding and induction. Sales rigor & structure in place. Develop the existing team. Drive CRM usage to develop accurate reporting and data for current and future. Support CEO with the new business sales strategy. Achieving versus sales targets. Ideally you will have as much of the following as possible: 5 years in a sales leadership position. SaaS or software sales experience Recruiting and developing sales teams. Delivery and presentation of accurate monthly sales reporting. Developing and implementing successful sales structures. Salesforce CRM.
