You will also enjoy the opportunity and benefit of working a 4 day week They are seeking a Production/Workshop Technician to join their friendly, highly skilled team, someone who thrives in a rewarding environment, works to a consistently high standard and enjoys the satisfaction of seeing a perfect end product. Full training will be provided, any previous experience in a manufacturing environment would be fully utilised but is not essential as this role would suit someone with some work experience and who is keen to learn equally as well. You will have great manual dexterity, articulate hand skills and attention to detail with a practical hands on approach, a flair for making and assembling products showing a high level of craftsmanship. This role also offers the opportunity to develop and progress within the company taking on additional responsibilities. The tasks to be undertaken include: Hand finishing parts so they are ready for assembly Final product assembly Work will include operation of machinery including computer based sewing, riveting and cutting press Assisting in the Warehouse preparing goods for despatch Working closely with the Despatch and QA Team preparing orders to be shipped This role offers the opportunity to become multi skilled and learn all aspects of production, warehouse operations and within Despatch so that you can offer assistance in all areas depending on the business needs. These products must be made to a consistently high standard of quality therefore they are looking for people with demonstrable aptitude, interest or background in activities that involve making things or using tools.
