About the Role As a Warehouse Lead, you will play a pivotal role in managing the receipt and dispatch of merchandise to and from our warehouse(s). You’ll be the principle point of contact for all day-to-day activities concerned with the management and development of the store, store processes and people development. What you’ll be doing As the Lead, you will oversee all stock systems, ensuring the efficient coordination of deliveries, transportation, and warehouse organisation. You will maintain a clean and orderly work environment while adhering to all relevant safety regulations, policies, and procedures and you’ll be responsible for managing all operational activities required to run the store effectively. Key responsibilities will include: Lead, mentor, and develop your team, ensuring they deliver high-quality operational support. Foster a collaborative and results-driven work culture by setting clear objectives and providing regular feedback. Establish measurable targets to monitor performance and maintain efficiency. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients and suppliers, to ensure seamless service delivery. Act as a trusted advisor, offering expert guidance on furniture systems, store solutions, and operational improvements. Who you are We’re looking for a confident communicator with strong people skills, ideally with experience managing or supervising a warehouse previously. The ideal candidate will be comfortable using computers and technology, have excellent attention to detail, and possess strong problem-solving abilities. This role requires agility, and dexterity, as well as the ability to work efficiently as part of a team. Candidates must hold a forklift truck licence and a valid driving licence for a 3.5t vehicle.
