Supply Chain Replenishment Buyer – Lowry House, Salford Quays

We are currently looking to appoint a new Supply Chain Replenishment Buyer based out of our Salford offices.
* Basis salary up to £23,051.60

Our Supply Chain Replenishment Buyer's Responsibilities
* Cover the end-to-end process from order through to delivery, working with all relevant internal departments and external suppliers.
* Creation of supplier Purchase Orders (PO) for Engineer & Sales / National Accounts for required products and parts.
* Creation of daily order requirements for delivery direct to customer and/or outside storage locations.
* Resolving and responding to supplier price and product queries, including ETAs.
* Liaise directly with internal colleagues to ensure queries are resolved in a timely manner.
* Inventory support across Min/Max levels set against all engineers for Van Stocks.
* Ensure daily and weekly KPI targets are overachieved.
* Process orders via GMAIL account daily.
* Order daily E-Bay and Marlowe Shop orders as per current process.
* Ensure stocked lines are picked and dispatched with tracking details updated on site.
* Liaise with suppliers on customer queries and resolve them in a timely manner.
* Process orders via Marlowe internal Portal.
* Liaise with Engineers ordering directly with suppliers, ensuring all goods are received into Van Stocks and booked out against JOBS where applicable.
* Liaise with suppliers daily to ensure deliveries are completed and required invoices are submitted.
Requirements
Who are we looking for?
* Experience in Supply Chain and/or Procurement with excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to prioritise workload.
* Previous experience in the Fire & Security industry is beneficial, but full training will be provided.
* Good IT skills including a sound knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Self-motivated, proactive, enthusiastic & flexible.
* Able to work independently and a desire to learn.
* Good telephone manner with colleagues and customers.
* Attention to detail.
* Good team player.
* Respectful to others – Customers, Colleagues, Managers, Directors.
* Excellent time management and communication skills.
