We are actively seeking an experienced CPCS Appointed Person/Contract Manager to join our busy London team within our Plant, Machinery & Movement (PMM) division.
King Lifting provides safe, expert crane hire, bespoke contract lifting and plant machinery movement for the public, data and private sectors. We work throughout the UK and Europe and are head-quartered in Bristol where we also run a renowned Training Centre. We are a modern family business established more than 40 years ago. In this role, you will be responsible for surveying, planning projects and other work in and around the London area, negotiating sales contracts, as well as producing method statements, lift plans and risk assessments to encompass the works.
You will be expected to provide outstanding levels of service to our existing and prospective clients.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills, experience and qualifications:
* Current CPCS Appointed Person (Lifting Operations) status
* Previous experience of delivering crane and/or plant machinery movement solutions and projects to our clients
* Operational understanding of cranes, forklifts, lorry mounted cranes and other lifting equipment
* Strong interpersonal skills allowing effective communication and organisation
* Sound commercial awareness and judgement and ability to prioritise according to the demands of this busy role
* Ability to work under pressure
* Computer literate (outlook, word, Excel – CAD would be advantageous)
* Full driving licence

his is a full time role, normal hours of work are 08:00 to 17:30, Monday to Friday. You will be based at our Swanley, Kent office with regular travel to client sites in and around London.
