Wehave an exciting new opportunity for a Band 7 Paediatric Occupational Therapistto join our dynamic and supportive team totake a leadership role for staff support and service delivery at our specialschools within Surrey.
Thisrole is suited for a band 7 Occupational Therapist or an experienced band 6looking for a new challenge and development opportunity.
We will consider full time, part time and term time only hours.
You will deliver care to children aged 0-19 with a range of conditions including Cerebral Palsy, Autistic Spectrum Disorders and learning difficulties.
Working in the community you will see children within a variety of settings, including nurseries, schools, homes and our newly established childrens centre, where you will carry out essential duties within the occupational therapy process, including:
Supporting children with higher levels or needs or complex backgrounds through either Health or SEN pathways.

Main duties of the job
1. Leading projects on service transformation, development and audit
2. Assessment, recommendation and provision of equipment for moderate to complex seating systems
3. Partnership working with therapy teams within CFHS and other key stakeholders such as Surrey education/SEND, Social Care and Wheelchair services
4. Training, mentoring and supervising occupational therapy team members
5. Working in partnership with mainstream and special school settings to provide staff consultation and training
6. Individual therapy sessions at home and clinic to support self-care, routine and independent living skills
7. Direct therapy interventions in the education environment to support engagement in school based occupations
