Job summary Applications are invited for a Clincial Fellow (ST3 equivalent) to work within Cardiology at QEHB. This post would commence as soon as possble until 03/02/2026 and is an ideal post for those wishing to pursue a career in cardiology and have completed their core general medical training but require more cardiology experience prior to obtaining a training number or working towards an equivalent post. The successful applicant will be provided with an educational supervisor to assist them in any future application. This post would also suit a senior trainee who has completed cardiology training but wishes to gain additional experience in a specific area in a large teaching centre. Main duties of the job The successful applicants will be expected to assist in the running of cardiology services at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, including in-patient and out-patient management of cardiac patients with a variety of conditions. They will work at registrar level and will participate in the cardiology registrar on call rota. Whilst this is not a research fellow posts, there will be opportunities to get involved with commercial and non-commercial cardiac research. Experience in cardiology at core level is essential and some experience in echocardiography would be an advantage but is not essential as training will be provided.
