This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is eager to support students with additional needs and help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with a range of learning needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and physical disabilities. Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning programs and activities. Help to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment. Support students with personal care and mobility where necessary. Monitor student's progress, recording observations, and providing feedback to the teaching team. Encourage students to build independence, confidence, and social skills. Foster a positive and nurturing atmosphere for students to develop. Key Requirements: Previous experience working with children, ideally in a special education or SEN setting, is essential. A genuine interest in supporting children with additional learning needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, empathy, and a positive, can-do attitude. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is preferred but not essential. Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to apply for one). Why Join Us?
