This successful client is looking to expand its Purchase Ledger team to 3, due to a busy workload. This Purchase Ledger Clerk role will involve dealing with a high volume of invoices. Job Description for the Purchase Ledger Clerk:
1. Processing a high volume of invoices
2. Preparing and processing payment runs
3. Statement reconciliations and query resolutions
4. Maintaining accurate database details
5. Processing staff expense claims
6. Assisting in month-end close procedures
Candidate Requirements for the Purchase Ledger Clerk:
1. Purchase Ledger/accounts payable experience is required
2. Excellent attention to detail
3. Someone who can multi-task and prioritise their workload
4. Strong communication skills
5. Good excel skills
6. Ideally, someone who has experience of using accountancy software
Hours: Monday-Friday 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £24,000 Per Annum
This is commutable from Stoke on Trent, Uttoxeter, Newcastle under Lyme, Longton, Fenton, Hanley, Blythe Bridge, and Moddershall.
