NUGENT has a proud past, dating back to its formation in 1963 by Michael Nugent. The business is now a 2nd Generation Family business with offices in Pomeroy, Belfast & Dublin. NUGENT carries out large, complex MEP engineering project works in GB, NI & ROI with a workforce of 130 direct employees and 300 sub-contractors.

The role:
NUGENT is seeking to recruit an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to our Major Projects Department. You will be a motivated and reliable worker who brings enthusiasm and positivity to a team, and you should enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
This role can be based within our Pomeroy or Belfast offices.

Position: Electrical Contracts Manager
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Objectives of this Role
1. Ensuring projects / Contractual requirements are delivered on time and within budget.
2. Procurement of relevant plant, materials and Sub-Contractor packages.
3. Responsible for the project team, staff management, control of labour and their coordination.
4. Meeting with clients on a regular basis.
5. Liaise with the Client and Contractor on the project delivery.
6. Ordering and managing products / machinery for site.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Applicants must have a clean driving license.
2. Applicants must either have an Electrical Engineering degree or other relevant qualification.
3. PC literate with competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
4. Health and Safety Knowledge.
5. Attention to detail.
6. Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
7. Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
8. Excellent communication skills.
9. Self-motivated, with a ‘can-do’ approach to work and willingness to learn and assist.
10. Organised and disciplined in your planning and approach to work.
11. Work well and confidently as part of a team in a busy environment.
