Location: Edinburgh (typically 2 days in the office per week, 3 from home)
Salary: A competitive salary from £38,320 - £57,480 depending on the experience you can bring

We are looking for a Senior People Analyst to join our team in Edinburgh. This role sits within a function that is responsible for developing, delivering and continuously improving regular people MI and insights that drive forward informed HR and business thinking, supporting decision making for all levels of stakeholder up to executive.
You will play a crucial role in a team that is critical in supporting a number of HR and business projects from a people data perspective and for delivering a range of HR services to other parts of the Aegon organisation.
As a Senior People Analyst your key responsibilities will include:
1. Taking ownership of the production of robust, meaningful and reportable people MI together with the required analysis to help drive people and business performance
2. Leading by example and contributing to the maintenance of a continuous improvement culture
3. Working with key stakeholders, both internal and external to introduce process improvements, with the main aim of enhancing the customer experience and interaction with the People Team.
4. Acting as the functions lead expert on topics providing analysis, value-add insight and support to your team manager.
5. Supporting and mentoring members of your immediate team and deputising for your Team Manager while they are on leave.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
6. Experience in building dashboards using Tableau or Power BI
7. Automation experience
8. Python coding expertise including the ability to troubleshoot python code
9. Excellent Analysis skills and experience analysing complex data sets
10. Experience in managing stakeholder effectively
11. Ability to present relevant insights to stakeholders across the business – identify problem areas within business.
