Role: Funding Assistant Hours: 20 hour per week Location: Southport/Hybrid This role is to be an integral member of the funding team dealing with a variety of stakeholders both inside and outside of the company. Providing exceptional client care to those at the start of their journey with Fletchers Solicitors to ensure they understand the funding process. Main Responsibilities : Liaising with clients to gain consent to take out insurance policies Taking out and updating insurance policies throughout the life of the case Dealing with queries from lawyers Contacting third party insurers to conduct BTE checks Processing insurance claims and uploading disbursement vouchers Assisting the Funding Supervisor with reconciliations and any other ad hoc admin jobs as required Working collaboratively with the accounts team to ensure insurance claims are allocated correctly Essential Skills and Experience: Excellent customer service skills Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels Strong attention to detail and accuracy Basic excel skills to be able to support management with reconciliations Desirable Skills and Experience: Working with a case management system Knowledge of SRA accounts rules Understanding of ATE and BTE insurance We reserve the right to close this role before the date specified depending on the calibre and volume of candidates.
