The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of inventory management, ensuring accurate
stock levels, efficient stock replenishment, and products are available as needed. The Inventory Coordinator will work
closely with the supply chain, procurement, and Operations teams.
Indicative Responsibilities Include:
1. Ensure inventory records are accurately managed using the company’s inventory management system.
2. Coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of stock across various departments and works orders.
3. Organise inventory in the warehouse, ensuring proper labelling and storage for easy accessibility.
4. Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels through regular cycle counts and stock reconciliations.
5. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between physical stock and inventory records.
6. Work closely with the purchasing department to raise purchase orders and manage stock replenishment.
7. Prepare and present regular inventory reports, highlighting stock levels, replenishment needs, and stock turnover.
8. Maintain safety standards within the storage and handling of stock in line with industry regulations.
9. Support the operations team in achieving 100% BOM accuracy.
10. Contribute to ongoing process improvements to optimise inventory management and warehouse operations.
Experience, Education & License Requirements:
1. Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management, ideally in a similar role.
2. Knowledge of inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor or other ERP systems) is essential.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
4. Forklift truck license or the willingness to obtain one.
5. Experience with barcode scanners, RFID technology, or other inventory tracking systems.
