6 month contract Outside IR35. £45/ph - £50/ph\n\nOur client is an engineering and project delivery business specializing in the design, installation, management, and consultancy of bulk material handling systems across multiple sectors. With extensive industry expertise, they have successfully delivered projects across the UK, Europe, and Asia.\n\nThe Opportunity\n\nThey are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team on a 3–6 month contract at their office in Adlington.
Reporting to the Group Head of Electrical Engineering, this role involves ensuring the integrity and delivery of electrical engineering and technical elements of projects. The successful candidate will focus on executing electrical engineering tasks, ensuring that project scope is well-defined, controlled, and aligned with safety and technical requirements.\n\nThis position requires collaboration with engineers across various disciplines—including technical, process, design, and project teams—as well as engagement with functional managers and subcontractors to support project execution and resolve technical queries.\n\nThey provide on-the-job training, coaching, mentoring, and regular performance reviews to support career development and professional growth.\n\nMinimum Requirements\n\n * \n\n Experience leading a team of electrical engineers in a contract environment.\n\n * \n\n Expertise in detailed design, specification, and procurement of electrical and control systems for material handling systems operating in challenging conditions.\n\n * \n\n Strong understanding of mechanical processes and process design applications.\n\n * \n\n Knowledge of current legislative requirements and industry standards, including the latest edition of the IET Wiring Regulations.\n\n * \n\n Ability to actively participate in and contribute to client meetings.\n\nCommitment to Inclusion\n\nThey are committed to providing equal opportunities for all applicants, regardless of age, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity status, race, religion, or marital/civil partnership status
