We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Fundraising Administrator to join one of our charity clients for a12 month contact.
The Role:
You will be the backbone of the philanthropy team, ensuring the smooth running of administrative tasks and providing vital support in managing donor relationships. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to handle confidential information will be essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Philanthropy team.
2. Coordinate meetings for key groups, including arranging logistics, communicating invitations, and distributing papers and minutes.
3. Serve as an alternative point of contact for team enquiries, managing the general email inbox and directing enquiries appropriately.
4. Assist team leads with administrative tasks, including biographies, letters, and receipts.
5. Support donors by providing information on events and addressing their enquiries.
6. Manage financial transactions, including creating payment reminders and receipts.
7. Contribute to the quarterly newsletter by collating news pieces on the Award and events.
8. Assist with event preparation and on-site support, liaising with guests and ensuring smooth event execution.
9. Manage the day-to-day administration of our CRM, Salesforce, including uploading documents, adding accounts to campaigns, and creating leads and accounts.
10. Conduct due diligence reports on new donors and lead reports through approval channels.
11. Ensure all processes comply with fundraising regulations.
12. Undertake other duties as required to support the organisation's objectives.
Person specification:
13. Proven experience in providing high-standard administrative support in a busy office environment.
14. Demonstrable experience in communicating with a broad range of stakeholders using various media.
15. Experience with Salesforce or a similar data management tool.
16. Experience in working or supporting others in managing relationships with key stakeholders.
Skills and Abilities:
17. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to protocols and procedures.
18. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English.
19. Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
20. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
21. Strong clerical and administrative skills, including filing, record keeping, and report writing.
22. Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
