Fostering Support Group is looking for a dedicated, proactive and forward thinking individual to join the company as a Fostering Assessment Manager.
As Fostering Assessment Manager, you will be exceptionally driven individual and be a team player with strong leadership qualities to drive department and working partnership with Key stakeholders. The aim of this post is to manage the assessment process of potential Foster Parents and to work with the assessment team to continually develop and improve the quality and efficiency of the Foster Parent recruitment process and therefore you will be a qualified social worker with registration.
You will manage the social work assessors both independent SW and internal SW staff in delivering the assessments to deadlines and making decisions regarding our assessments with effective communication with our perspective families.

You
You will be a qualified social worker currently registered with SWE with demonstrable management experience. You will have experience of dealing with complex, regulated processes and a wide-ranging knowledge of fostering and fostering legislation. You will have a robust understanding of the importance of safeguarding children and young people, ensuring that this is kept at the core of your practice.
You will have excellent communication skills and demonstrate confidence and leadership, with the ability to manage relationships with diverse group of stakeholders. You will have good IT skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience in using Microsoft Dynamics Charms would be advantageous but is not essential.
The package
We offer a salary of up to £47,000 (FTE) pro rata dependent on experience, car allowance, generous annual leave and a great working environment.
The role hybrid working with 1 day per week in our Bromley office.
