Several auditors based within our team assist the lawyers in the Office of General Counsel (OGC) in managing Troublesome Practice Matters (TPMs). You will be involved in various types of work, including assembly and production of documents, analysis of audit work, liaison with audit teams and responding to requests from regulator. Working closely with lawyers, auditors and other parts of the practice, e.g. forensics. All secondees work alongside our experts in providing timely technical support to the practice through responding to consultations on Consult. Responsibilities: Act as an internal expert providing advice on accounting and auditing related matters, working with OGC, who provide legal advice on TPMs and assisting the development of new processes and to manage TPMs. Use and build analytical and digitisation skills, and intellectual curiosity to help identify digitisation opportunities within Audit. Work on complex issues which are challenging and varied in nature whilst developing pragmatic solutions to overcome issues and manage risk. Responding to queries covering a wide range of audit risk management issues and methodology challenges, broadening their own experiences and technical skills in doing so. Essential skills and experience Good IT skills and experience of using Aura A practical understanding of the PwC audit processes and an ability to critically evaluate the application Good communication and influencing skills with both peers and senior individuals Assertive, flexible, proactive and self motivated with a desire for learning. Organised with an ability to manage own workload and supervise others Must possess a ACA / ACCA / ICAS Qualification (or an international equivalent) or have equivalent work experience.
