DIO Accommodation have 2x Housing Estate Officer positions available at the following duty stations; 1x Wyton and 1x Donnington.
These positions are advertised at 37 hours per week and will include regular travel (up to 3 hours from duty station) and some lone working. Transport will be provided through MOD fleet cars from your duty station.
Wyton area sites are predominantly within the Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and Essex areas plus occasional travel within the wider Central Region to attend team training events.
Donnington area sites include Staffordshire, Shropshire, Worcestershire, West Midlands, Warwickshire.
The Housing Estate Officer is a key role in our service delivery and the successful candidate will be responsible for the management of properties across their area. You will be part of a small team where you will work both on a desktop and out on the MoD Estate. You will ensure the effective delivery of our two contracts who provide allocation, occupancy management and repair; with your primary focus being on assurance and holding to account.
Key responsibilities include;
Engaging with stakeholders and partners including Industry Partners, MOD personnel, Units and Service Families
Regular customer engagement at all levels
Working with partners to achieve positive outcomes and results, putting the needs of Families First.
Assist with the development of the Regional Billable Works Plan and wider Headquarters future programmes which helps improve the estate.
Consider and process new work requests for the Billable Works Programme including monitoring progress and quality.
Undertake Regional Assurance activities on contract deliverables both on the estate and via desktop.
Investigate level 2 customer complaints and parliamentary enquires.
Dealing with in occupation queries and working with Suppliers to resolve difficulties.
Attend and support handovers as directed.
Responsible for investigating H&S issues within designated area including inspections.

Ensure Compliance with legislative and mandatory requirements.
Supporting the DIO HQ Projects teams through monitoring and supporting of Major Project Programme for SFA.
