Belvika is currently seeking an Inventory Coordinator for its Thornmount facility, located in Scarborough. Reporting to the Director, Supply Chain or designate, we are seeking a talented Inventory Coordinator who will be responsible for ensuring the facility has all the products, materials, equipment, and supplies needed to operate efficiently. The successful candidate will:
* Ensure inventory record accuracy by conducting specific inventory cycle counts;
* Participate in physical and cycle counting inventory processes;
* Change and assess the packaging inventory status when requested by the Planning Manager/Customer due to urgent order/demand;
* Manage CHEP and PECO Portfolios;
* Order CHEP and PECO pallets;
* Reconcile Book to Book balances between Belvika and its Customers’ ERP System;
* Ensure to clean up the inventory by disposing of them after getting the approval from the customers and create the certificate of disposals (COD);
* Perform daily component checks for day, afternoon and mid night shift to make sure lines don’t go down;
* Investigate all pallets in BTPL audit;
* Perform comparisons between Nulogy and Customer SAP;
* Plan the transfers to and from within network locations when required;
* Assisting the shunting driver with the transfer activities;
* Making adjustments in all SAP for all clients, determining the variance after comparing it with Nulogy;
* Prepare weekly/ month end inventory reports for all clients and provide the comments for any variances;
* Resolving any STO issues by contacting the various counterparts & IT;
* Investigate any BOM issues to understand the difference, if any, and request for inventory adjustments;
* Investigate issues on blocked invoices, as requested by Finance Department;
* Perform the reconciliation transactions once projects are completed to write off/adjust the scrap and shortages, if any;
* Post the sub-components for the Nestle declarations which were shipped;
* Post WIP for various clients when requested;
* Other duties as requested.
Education/Work experience requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent (bachelor’s degree or College Diploma in Business, Purchasing or Related Courses an asset);
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in Inventory and Accounting (food processing or food packaging environment preferred);
* Experience using SAP, or any ERP & MRP systems to track inventory;
* Experience using Nulogy is an asset;
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials movement preferred.
